What is your cancellation policy?

If you withdraw from a class before it begins, provided you give 3 weeks (21 days) notice, you will be refunded your class tuition less a $30 cancellation fee. Due to instructor and supply preparation costs, no refunds will be granted 20 days or less prior to the class start date, unless a student from the waiting list is able to fill the vacancy. In that case we will happily refund your class tuition minus a $30 cancellation fee.

If a class is canceled by Agua Fresca Studios, each participant in the class will be notified as soon as possible and a full refund will be offered. We understand that this would be terribly inconvenient for most families and hopefully this won’t ever happen. In case of instructor illness, all efforts will be made to provide a substitute teacher.

Do I need to bring anything with me to class?

Please bring a healthy snack and a reusable cup or water bottle to each class. All art supplies will be provided. It is also a good idea to wear your art clothes (i.e. clothes than can get dirty!) and we recommend water-friendly shoes with good soles that strap well to the feet since it’s fun to wade in the creek during breaks.

Can you accommodate students with special needs?

Jennifer Ober (Agua Fresca Studios owner and art teacher) has lots of experience and training in teaching children with a wide variety of special needs. Some of our other instructors have varying degrees of experience with accommodating special needs, and some do not. If this applies to your child, the best thing to do is to contact Jennifer and discuss your child’s individual needs and the specifics of the chosen camp before registering. Our goal is for all children to be successful in every camp and to have a good time, and we believe in inclusion whenever possible.
